I will admit, I'm not happy with my shots this week.
All too rushed. Understandably, my children are not realising that this challenge is important to me and they need to play the game for 15 more weeks. It's nice to dream...... I am determined to finish this. I WILL take at least one shot every day for 366 days and these shots WILL ALL be taken on my dSLR. This is my goal.
Ryan went to his first concert on Sunday, The Wiggles. While Senior son is not a huge fan, he likes to get his boogie on to a couple of his favourite songs. Have you ever watched a two year old "dance"? Limited co-ordination and body awareness. Very entertaining indeed.
The concert look did not start well as Senior son started bawling 10mins into the show and asking to go home. Sensory overload. A huge room filled with (excited) kids and adults, that was dark apart from bright flashing coloured lights, big speakers emitting loud voices and music - all a bit much and very different from watching The Wiggles on the TV at home! After some cuddles, reassurance and a quick reset by exit doors, we slowly came right. It helped that The Wiggles started to sing "Five Little Ducks" which we are comfortable with and sing alot at home in the bath. While Senior son didn't LOVE the whole show, he did have a dance and took in all that the performers and other kids were doing around him. The timing of the concert was not ideal (1.15pm) so by the end of the show we were ready to leave (see pic below) and return to the calmness of home. Dispite the initial hiccup, I took the day as a win. He was well behaved with the crowds and did as Mummy said. Pat on the back for us both.
