The Christmas tree went up this week, as did the coloured fairy lights in the lounge. The boys are loving the flashing fairy lights that are strung all over the lounge. They love them so much that we have to have them on all day - yes ALL day.
Christmas does provide a greater variety of photo opportunities and creative angles than other times of the year. Others may disagree with this, but that is probably because I am too literal in my thinking. Something I need to work on perhaps?
Swimming and nudity have featured greatly this week with the superb Summer weather that December has provided. The spa and paddling pools have been enjoyed. As has the sunblock and umbrella!
We had Senior's daycare Christmas party on Friday. More than 40 kids aged 4-1 singing Christmas carols and dancing. Fun and cute. Our two took it all in quite well in quite an overwhelming scene and stood by each other on the dancefloor.
In topical news, the stupid/selfish/maddening/idiotic mass shooting in Connecticut, USA over the weekend has of course made me treasure my boys that much more and appreciate where we live. I am very lucky to be able to cuddle and kiss them just a day longer than the poor parents of the 26 people he killed in the school. You should do the same.
